Gear2Give is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects sports teams in underserved communities with new or lightly used sports equipment donated from the greater Orange County, CA area.

In addition to kids’ sports teams, we also collect gear for cheerleading, dancers, gymnasts, and more. See our full list below.

Evan Brady

Founder & President

Evan Brady, a high school student from Orange County, plays baseball and knows firsthand how much baseball gear goes unused every year. Ever-changing league requirements leave his gear in good condition because he can only use it for a few seasons. After seeing his teammates and other players in the same situation, he wanted to establish an effective way to donate this quality equipment to other players who can use it. His passion for baseball and desire to help others sparked his idea to start Gear2Give when he was 13, alongside his sister, Tatum. As President & CEO of Gear2Give, Evan wants every kid to have the opportunity to compete at the same level without worrying about their gear.

Tatum Brady

Co-founder

Tatum Brady has been a triple threat her entire life, booking her first TV job at just two weeks old. Her passion for dance has led her to numerous 1st place regional & national titles as well as lead and supporting roles for TV, film, and commercials. Tatum has aired on: NBC’s “This is Us”, E! Entertainment’s “Siwa’s Dance Pop Revolution”, Peacock, TLC, Disney, Burger King, and many more. She models for top companies such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Five Dancewear, MIA NY, Frankie’s on the Park, Miss Behave Girls, and Discount Dance Supply. A natural born athlete with a marketing mind, Tatum started the idea of Gear2Give with her older brother, Evan, when she was 11. Tatum saw the need for proper sports equipment in surrounding areas and communities. She wants every kid to have the best so they can play their best! Tatum is excited to serve as co-founder & Chief Commercial Officer of Gear2Give.

Robbie Watson

Vice President

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Robbie loves all things basketball. Robbie has played multiple youth sports and currently plays on multiple basketball teams throughout the year through his school and club programs. In addition, he operates and creates content for multiple basketball-related social media pages. Robbie has seen firsthand the amount of surplus athletic equipment that can accumulate through growth and changing needs. As Vice President, Robbie is excited to help create an organization that gets athletic equipment to deserving kids rather than landfills.
